This year's reunion was held in Linthicum, Maryland, a suburb just south of Baltimore Maryland. Attendees participated in an evening reception on the 4th, general meeting and dinner at Jim's Hideaway Crab House on the 5th, a tour of Washington DC on the 6th, followed by a luncheon and evening dinner.
The crew and their families traveled to Washington D.C. and participated in a wreath laying ceremony at the U.S. Navy Memorial, that was dedicated to the USS DuPage and its crew. Additional stops included the Korean War Memorial, Lincoln Monument, Viet Nam Memorial, Capitol Building, and the Roosevelt Memorial. On Saturday, the crew and their spouses, were hosted for a tour of the White House followed by a luncheon, hosted by the family of the USS DuPage Society's daughter, Vernon Nielson. Later on Saturday evening, we went to the Rose Restaurant for a lovely dinner reception and closed the reunion.
